Man its been another great week down here On The Mat. New guys to the sport coming in with that enthusiasm we all had in the beginning, and it rubs off! The old dogs come down sharing stories about the old days, and I'm glad we had those.
Is it me or does the WEC just keep getting better? Hordecki V. Downes are you kidding me? That was just INCREDIBLE!! Then Hominick V. Jabouin...really..my god the sport gets better and we get more of it everyday!! Both of these were WARS!

ULTIMATE FIGHT NIGHT!!

Saturday was a great night! I left OTM just after 9pm people were talking about the fights all day as per usual at OTM. The arguments are always spirited.Funny fighters and fight fans like to argue..hm! It always starts out nice and then someone says something a little over the line defending their turf. Twice now I almost had to step around the counter and get between two guys...but thankfully in both cases they settled down on their own. I LOVE IT...PASSION FOR THE SPORT THAT THE MAN ABOVE HIMSELF FAVORS!
Hey OTMers new Hayabusa gear is in, the VENUM shirts we have are a limited style so if you want something strange and unique that the geek in the office won;t have, come on down.
Congrats to Court McGee from OTM SF you are an American Success story in the modern sense. Where before we had to fight our way up the economic ladder now we have to beware the pitfalls of many things all equally challenging I guess. Hey I think McCray is gonna be a factor in that divison too he just keeps getting better and better.
Anyway buy an MMA magazine, buy a Tapout T, get a PPV, watch a local grappling tourney, train an extra night a week..do something man SUPPORT THE SPORT!!

Well OTM SF sends out its heartfelt condolences to Matt Danzig. To lose like that is a sin! Yves Lavigne my man its time to go.
It was sad to see Chuck Liddell's last fight....but hey he went out the way he came in swinging for the fence!! LONG LIVE LIDDELL!! Thanks for years of excitement!! OTMERs everywhere like your style Chuck.

We would like to welcome a new member to our staff..Wynonna Finucan...she is in charge of our growing woman's section and has a lot of retail experience in San Francisco. We managed to get a few words out of her the blog and has had this to say about her first month at OTM.
"Being a new hire at OTM was intimidating at first. There is so much to learn and remember about the products we sell, and most of the time I’m the only girl in the store. Being hit on was something I wasn’t prepared for, but it makes for interesting and funny stories to tell my friends. Another thing I find funny is how apologetic men are when they unfold a shirt for a close look. Over all I enjoy working at OTM and have had great co-workers and managers."


Well I am gonna bet she has some other things to say next month some we may have to *** out. Also our brawling shift manager Patrick will be weighing in next week on working in MMA and training for MMA and keeping them separate.

It's Superbowl weekend. And I used to get so up for football. The last couple of years though for me have been about the UFC. All I can think about is will Matt Serra submit Frank Trigg? Will Coleman have any gas at all after the first round? Will Maia pull off a sick submission? Is this a new era for the Gracies? Now I would love to see the Saints win and bring some joy to that city. But its all about the UFC now and MMA is taking over!! Sure the game will be on and they will have 24 hour coverage starting any damn minute now, so if you need a brake come on down I'll be here.
